FOUNTAIN PEN INFORMATION

To start using a Fountain Pen, draw circles on a brown paper bag. This will get the nib used to your writing style.

Our Fountain Pens use standard international cartridges (think Waterman but not Cross).

To use the Converter, pop the converter into the other end of the nib after unscrewing the nib from the body of the pen. Dip the nib into a bottle of ink and twist the back of the converter to start drawing up the ink. Then screw the nib with converter still attached back into the body of the pen.

PARKER INFORMATION Used in about 90% of all the world's ballpoint pens, the "Parker-Style" ballpen refill is named after the Parker brand that made it so popular. Since it is so widely used, several manufacturers produce the same model refill which is compatible with most click-top and twist-action ballpoint pens. It is distinguishable by its slender tapering toward the tip and the plastic back-end piece that is uniquely shaped to fit most common ballpoint pen mechanisms.

ROLLERBALL INFORMATION    Widely used in most capped rollerball pens, the safety ceramic rollerball pen refill, also known as the Schmidt 888 ceramic refill, is characterized by a long cylinder that abruptly comes to a point at the one end and is flat on the opposite, non-writing end. They sometimes have other markings, or other brand names on the barrel, but as long as the size is the same, it will work for your rollerball pen. Most of the branded refills like Waterford, ACME, etc are manufactured in the same plant in Germany and are interchangeable, meaning they will fit in a variety of rollerball pens.
